Free to ask, priced fairly, agreed before I start anything.
Phone troubleshooting
Free, always. I'll talk through the problem and try to solve it with you, no charge either way. If it's easier to talk it through, just mention that when you get in touch and leave a number — I'll call you back.

If free help got you sorted, PayPal me if you feel I helped — genuinely, if you can't afford it or don't think I did, that's fine.
OS installs
Windows, Linux, or SteamOS, from £35. Your old files can be backed up first or kept accessible as a separate drive — you won't lose anything without knowing about it.
Hardware installs & swaps
RAM, graphics card, storage upgrades and the like — priced per job, agreed with you before I start anything.
In-home troubleshooting
The call-out itself is free. What it costs to actually fix the problem depends on what's wrong — we'll talk it through first.
Streaming hardware advice & setup
Happy to talk you through it over the phone — PayPal me if you feel I helped, genuinely, if you can't afford it or don't think I did, that's fine. Prefer me to come and sort it in person? That's priced separately, agreed before I travel out.
Router & Wi-Fi setup
Same deal — talked through over the phone, PayPal if it's sorted, or an in-person visit priced upfront if you'd rather I handle it directly.
Outside the area?
You're welcome to post your PC or parts to me — you'd cover postage both ways. Usually only worth it if there's no one closer who can help.
I want to keep things as low-cost as I can for everyone. The one thing outside my control is component pricing — the last few years have seen real hikes there, down to the manufacturers, not anything I can do much about.
Reduced rates for elderly or vulnerable customers — just mention it when you get in touch.
